2355 I-10 (Washington Street Exit) Beaumont, Texas The Triplex Chapter of the Vibration Institute is sponsoring a one-day seminar on Tuesday, April 14th, 2020. The seminar will be held at the Elegante Hotel and Convention Center (409-842-3600) located at 2355 I-10, Beaumont, Texas (Washington Street Exit). This course is aimed toward the persons responsible for Rotating Equipment Reliability, Predictive Maintenance and/or Vibration Analysis. This may include people from the Maintenance, Engineering and Management realm. This course emphasizes modern techniques of establishing rotating equipment reliability through scientific analysis, common sense maintenance practices and design practices. All of the topics are presented by experienced turbo machinery users or consultants who are recognized experts in their subject area. Approximately 50 different exhibitors will be on display demonstrating the latest state of the art equipment. THE INSTITUTE HISTORY
The Vibration Institute grew out of a vibration measurement symposium organized in 1967 by a small group of people seeking a way to disseminate practical vibration technology. No formal organization was established at that time, however, and it was not until 1972 that the not-for-profit Vibration Foundation was chartered. The Foundation was reorganized during 1973 into the Vibration Institute, but the goal of the organization remained the same: to promote the exchange of practical information about vibration and equipment reliability. The Triplex Chapter was formed in 1985. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month (except during the summer) to share information.
